Jobs for young people!
Are you aged 18-24, enjoy meeting other young people and want to develop communication and IT skills? Then why not join our team of paid Citizen Digital Mentors?
We have 30 six-month placements for young people to contribute to a new national social media website http://www.socialbreakfast.org.uk
Your job will be to get out and about to ask 14 to 30-year-olds their views on the things that matter to them and then upload them to this website.
You’ll also be encouraging people to upload their own content such as street art, slam poetry, blogs, music and other media to express their views.
Our aim is to help politicians hear the views of young people.
You will get training and gain valuable and transferable skills in communication, technology and youth engagement. Socialbreakfast’s creative focus will provide the showcase for you to demonstrate your talent.
The project is being led by Ashram Housing Association on behalf of the Accord Group and in partnership with the Groundwork Trust.
Successful applicants will be paid above the national minimum wage and be given the resources they need.
