Older People
Ashram currently runs three residential schemes for older people and a centre which provides day opportunities for people living in and around Chelmsley Wood. Our schemes are all intercultural which means they cater for people from all communities whilst rejecting segregation and division.
The organisation is moving towards providing services which help to create stronger links between older people and the communities in which they live. In order to do this, Ashram is working alongside health and voluntary agencies to provide accessible services which promote greater social interaction.
