Socialbreakfast
Ashram runs a ground-breaking national youth engagement website, socialbreakfast which was launched at the House of Commons in November 2009.
Socialbreakfast provides a space for young people to come together and express their views on the issues that matter to them. Young people can give their opinions and start campaigns using a wide range of multimedia formats such as video, music, street art and slam poetry. It’s a site where young people can talk to politicians and the powerful on their own terms, in the formats that they feel comfortable with.

The site promotes youth engagement between young people and policymakers/politicians and has been endorsed by the three main political parties in the UK. The host's interviews with high-profile authority figures, such as Peter Marsh, Chief Executive of the Tenants Services Authority who was interviewed by Richard Rossington, a WATMOS Community Homes tenant. In addition Group resident and Ashram Young Advisor Louis Rotimi works for the site. Both young men spoke at the House of Commons Launch.
All of Ashram's young residents can use the site and can interview high-profile figures as Richard did.
